What happened

Two bands in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced multiple-night Las Vegas engagements for 2027, the Las Vegas Sun reported Tuesday. The Doobie Brothers will play nine shows at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and Foreigner will play six at the Venetian. Both announcements came Monday.

The Sun's entertainment roundup also covered a November comedy lineup at the Rio and an added performance of "Twilight" in Concert at The Smith Center. Ticket details differ by venue, so the rundown below breaks them out. More coverage of events around the valley is in our community section.

The Doobie Brothers at Fontainebleau

Dates and lineup

The run will take place at BleauLive Theater and marks the band's first appearance at the resort, according to the announcement reported by the Sun. Dates are Feb. 26-27, March 5-6, Aug. 27-28 and Sept. 1, 3 and 4. The announcement did not include showtimes.

The residency poster names Tom Johnston, Patrick Simmons, Michael McDonald and John McFee. The group entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020, and the Sun noted that its No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 were "Black Water" and "What a Fool Believes."
