What happened
Caesars Entertainment announced Tuesday that Nevada residents will get free self-parking and food and drink discounts at its eight Las Vegas resorts during the holiday season, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. The promotion runs from Oct. 31 through Dec. 26 and covers Thanksgiving and Christmas.
According to the Review-Journal, the Reno-based company is offering the perks seven days a week. The package also includes reduced prices on select spa treatments, attractions and entertainment.
Sean McBurney, chief commercial officer and regional president for Caesars, said the offer is meant to "make it easier for Nevada residents to enjoy experiences across all eight of our Las Vegas resorts," the Review-Journal reported.
How the free parking works
Participating garages
The Review-Journal listed the locations where residents can park at no charge: Caesars Palace, The Vanderpump Hotel, Harrah's, Flamingo, The LINQ, Paris, Horseshoe and the Miracle Mile Shops garage at Planet Hollywood. There is no time limit on the free parking.
What drivers need
Drivers must scan a valid Nevada ID at the participating garages, according to the Review-Journal. The Miracle Mile Shops garage works differently, requiring a validation sticker that drivers pick up at the valet office on the garage's ground floor.
Dining and drink discounts
Who qualifies and where
The food and beverage portion takes 25 percent off eligible purchases at participating restaurants, bars and lounges, the Review-Journal reported. To get the discount, customers must show both a valid Nevada ID and a Caesars Rewards membership card.
Participating spots include Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace and The Bedford by Martha Stewart at Paris, which sells a Thanksgiving meal for takeout. Eligible takeout orders also count, including seasonal desserts from Dominique Ansel's Las Vegas locations.
Exclusions to know
Pickup and delivery orders placed through Caesars Eats are not included, according to the Review-Journal. The discount stays in effect during the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix on Nov. 19-21, but it does not cover special F1 dining experiences on those dates.
Spa, attractions and new venues
Beyond parking and dining, the Review-Journal reported that residents can get 15 percent to 20 percent off select spa and salon treatments. Select attractions are discounted 20 percent to 25 percent, including the High Roller Observation Wheel and the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck, and there are savings on select concerts and shows.
The spa deal at Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace is available only Monday through Thursday. The promotion also lines up with several new food and drink options, including a SIPS Drinkery House pop-up at Caesars Palace's VISTA Cocktail Lounge starting Oct. 31, Track 35 Bar & Lounge at The LINQ, and Le Jardin à Paris, a smoothie and bowl bar at Paris.
