What the Realtors group said about rates
George Kypreos, president of Las Vegas Realtors, pointed to borrowing costs as a growing factor. "Recently rising mortgage rates are playing a bigger role in the housing market," he said in a statement quoted by the Las Vegas Sun.
Kypreos also acknowledged uncertainty about where rates are headed. "We don't know what's going to happen with rates in the near future," he said, according to the Sun.
