What happened

President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a campaign rally Wednesday afternoon at Laughlin Bullhead International Airport in Bullhead City, Arizona, according to KTNV and the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The Review-Journal reported that the visit comes just short of three weeks before Election Day, as Republicans try to keep their majorities in Congress.

Why it matters to Southern Nevada

A short drive from the valley

Bullhead City sits about 100 miles south of Las Vegas, across the Colorado River from Laughlin in unincorporated Clark County, the Review-Journal reported. KTNV put the trip at about an hour and a half south of Las Vegas. The city is home to about 44,000 residents, according to the station.

Trump's visits to the region

The Review-Journal reported that Trump has headlined two events in the Las Vegas Valley in 2026. Wednesday's appearance will be his second campaign visit to Bullhead City and his first there in six years, according to KTNV. He previously held a "Make America Great Again" rally at the same airport during his 2020 reelection campaign.
